"As a nurse in the medical field, I have always come from a "Western" medicine approach to health care. Nearly everything could be explained through blood & diagnostic tests, and most ailments could be treated successfully with a variety of medication options. When my latest pregnancy became difficult due to the severe sciatica I was experiencing, my traditional doctors could do nothing to alleviate my discomfort, and I spent weeks finding it difficult to sleep, sit, stand, and most importantly, to take care of my two other children. After a wonderful recommendation from a friend, I sought out Dr. Dale, and decided to give the idea of chiropractic care a try. After only 2 adjustments, and 3 days later, my sciatica was almost completely gone, and by the next week, I had complete relief. I decided to maintain weekly visits throughout the rest of my pregnancy, and I never had a return of my symptoms!

A few months after having my son, he was diagnosed with plagiocephaly (an abnormal head shape), which was being worsened by torticollis, (a shortened neck muscle) causing him to lean his head to one side and have a limited range of motion. We began treatment with a DOC band (an orthotic helmet to gently mold his head shape) and physical therapy, but I felt it was not enough to correct the problem. I decided to come back to Dr. Dale, and although I was nervous to try chiropractic care on my infant, his incredibly gentle approach, and simple explanations put me at ease immediately. After my son's very first adjustment, I lifted him off the table, and he held his head perfectly straight for the first time! After 5 short weeks, the doctors said that amazingly, his torticollis was gone! I strongly believe the reason for this was not only a lot of prayer, but Dr. Dale's gentle touch.

"For the past 30 years, chiropractic has been and will remain an important part of my life. One morning, (over 30 years ago), Dr. Dale (who I had recently met and who had just completed his chiropractic studies) received a frantic call from me concerning a severe torticollis with my head bent down almost to my shoulder. I could not turn my head at all and was in excruciating pain. His office was not finished being decorated or officially open, but I appeared and was adjusted on a portable table. Within hours, my mobility had greatly improved and over the next few days the pain went away. Since then my family and I have maintained good health and attribute it to the use of chiropractic care. "Approximately 25 years ago, I started Chiropractic care with Dr. John M. Dale. It was after seeing the improvement in my husband’s back, that I decided I should try it too. I had been doctoring with an orthopedic Dr. for a couple of years for arthritis in my back and shoulder. After receiving cortisone injections in my shoulder over the two years, and really not enough improvement to speak of, I knew I had to do something different.

When I started with Dr. Dale, I couldn’t hold our new grandchildren for more than five minutes. I was also working as a secretary, and it got that I couldn’t put in or take out paper in my typewriter. (They didn’t have computers!) It was very frustrating. I also have a severe curvature of the spine complicated with arthritis. There were weeks that I could hardly walk for the pain.

It was only a short while after starting adjustments that I started to feel the improvement. There were days I could just about get into the office…but thanks to Dr. Dale, I walked out!! There are still recurrences, but are fewer and farther between. My shoulder is 100% better than it ever was, and I’m able to do many things I couldn’t do before.

I’m still limited with the arthritis, but on the whole, I’m good.

"Going to Dr. Dale for the past five years has been one of the best things we have done for the health and well being of our family! I went to see him for a consultation and x-ray examination when a friend recommended that I go, after seeing the pain I was in. He had helped her so much and I hoped he could do the same for me. My back and hip pain started after my second pregnancy and was so bad I was taking pain pills everyday. He did help! Within a few weeks, the pain was gone and with consistency on my part, Dr. Dale is able to keep it that way.

After reading how important it can be to have children adjusted to keep them in maximum health, I started taking Jenny and Chrissy, 5 year olds and Daniel 4 months with me to be adjusted. It has helped Jenny with her lung and breathing problems. It has been such a blessing though, to look back and see how God led us to Dr. Dale before the birth of our fourth child, Gregory.

He was a large baby with a long and difficult birth. He was stuck in the birth canal and his neck and shoulder were twisted badly during the delivery causing nerve damage to his right arm. He had no use of the arm. After consulting with neurologist and physical therapists in the hospital, we were told they cannot tell us for sure the extent of the damage and he may or may not get full or even partial use of his arm back. I’ll never forget calling Dr. Dale that day in tears asking him if he could help. He said to bring Gregory in as soon as possible. We did bring him the day after he got home from the hospital. I was a little nervous with a 4 day old baby but, Dr. Dale is so gentle and he loves babies and knows their bodies so well. He adjusted Gregory’s neck and shoulder and we could hear it go back into place. Dr. Dale said he never adjusted a baby whose neck was so out and that we should see him every week for awhile.
Thank the Lord! Within 24 hours we saw small movement of the fingers and wrist and a gradual use of the arm within 3 weeks.

After about 3 months, he had full and normal movement and full strength. At a follow-up examination with the neurologist, the doctor was amazed and pleased to see Gregory’s progress.

"GOD HAS BROUGHT ME TO THE HEALING HANDS OF DR. JOHN DALE!

37 YEARS AGO, I HAD RADICAL RIGHT NECK/HEAD SURGERY DUE TO ADVANCED THYROID CANCER. THIS RESULTED IN CONSTANT PAIN AND THE CURSE OF INSOMNIA--WHICH ONLY GREW STRONGER WITH EVERY PASSING YEAR.
